The Samsung Galaxy S3 has just received its first software update, despite only going on sale a fortnight ago. As you might expect from such an early update, this one doesn’t add a shedload of new features, but rather makes a few tweaks. Read on to find out what they are.
The update, which reportedly ranges from around 9MB to over 31MB, depending on your Samsung Galaxy S3′s particular setup, has just one item on its changelog: “Improved stability”. Not particularly high on the excitement-meter, perhaps, but it’s reassuring to know that the South Korean company is keeping its top-of-the-line smartphone in shipshape condition.
The Samsung Galaxy S3: Everything you need to know
The update is performed automatically over the air, but you can manually set your Galaxy S3 to seek it out by navigating to About Device > Software Update in the Settings menu – network depending, of course.
