E3 2012 is just five days away, but developers and publishers have spent the last 24 hours spitting out new game trailers to try and drum up interest for their respective booths. There’s plenty of whizz-bang-shiny stuff on show, but here are the very best trailers launched ahead of E3…

Hitman: Absolution

Nuns? Bloody noses? Women getting punched in the face by bald men? This Hitman’s got controversy written all over it.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

In which Raiden jumps along a series of torpedoes in the same fashion that Roger Moore does with crocodiles, and several meaningless buzz phrases like ‘WAR ECONOMY’ flash up on the screen.

Tomb Raider

It’s been delayed until 2013, but there’s still plenty of fresh gameplay to be seen here from Lara’s reboot. It’s all a bit ‘Uncharted’, except there’s a bit where you have to shoot a deer.

Far Cry 3

An invitation to ‘step into insanity’ from Ubisoft, here. Far Cry 3 is looking like a real treat, even if a lot of the gameplay we’ve seen seems like it’s a bit ‘on rails’.
