Capcom’s currently suffering at the hands of poor sales of Street Figher X Tekken. The reason? Apparently that it was launched around the same time as several other fighting titles. The solution? Bundle it up with even more. And some music. And a book. And a lot more besides. Is this the best gaming bundle ever assembled?
The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary set, which will set you back $149.99 (£95.60), is a gargantuan package. On top of Street Fighter X Tekken, you’ll get Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition. But that’s just the games.
Add to that a documentary “that highlights the lifelong love affair fans have had with Street Fighter, and how their dedication has affected the game,” on Blu-Ray, every episode of the Street Fighter animated series, and three Street Fighter animated movies. Amazing, right? It goes on…
Awesome Kinect Street Fighter hack is awesome
You’ll also get a full-size replica of Ryu’s belt and a Ryu light-up statue, a hardback book of fan art and an 11-disc soundtrack set. Oh, and a certificate of authenticity. That, we’re sure you’ll agree, is an awful lot of Street Fighter. Almost too much, if anything.
The set’s part of a limited edition run, so make sure you snap one up fast if you’re keen, by heading here for all the details:
