After a hiatus from the fickle world of celebrity, Apple has recently made the decision to veer back into using ads with celeb iPhone 4S endorsements.
Whilst previous efforts starred Zooey “so kooky it hurts” Deschanel and Samuel L. “Swearword” Jackson, a couple of new ones have cropped up starring none other than hollywood oddball John Malkovich. Wanna know how to be John Malkovich? Read on.
Malkovich’s two new iPhone 4S ads continue the trend of putting the Siri voice assistant into the hands of someone you recognise off ‘telly. They’re more humurous and light-hearted than the previous efforts, with Malkovich interacting through a series of listless one-word commands.
‘Joke’ (above) shows the man seeking the titular entertainment, but it’s the second of the two – ‘Life’ – that’s our favourite. After simply asking Siri to respond to the word, it reels off the following:
“Try and be nice to people. Avoid eating fat. Read a good book every now and then. Get some walking in. And try to live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.”

“That’s pretty spectacular advice,” says Malkovich. No arguments there, really.
