Here on Electricpig, we like nothing more than giving away a whole bunch of gadgets and games to you, dear readers. Why? Because free stuff. Everyone likes that. So with that in mind, we’ve got a great new competition for you today: we’ve got a brand new Xbox 360 to giveaway, along with a steering wheel and a copy of the brand new DiRT Showdown! Read on to find out how to enter.

To celebrate the release of DiRT Showdown on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on Friday 25 May, we’ve teamed up with Codemasters to give away a copy of the game  along with a new Xbox 360 and a Madcatz Wireless Force-Feedback racing wheel to play it on. Two runners up will also win copies of the game on Xbox 360.

DiRT Showdown is the new arcade racing game from the team that brought you the award-winning DiRT series. Alongside breakneck racing thrills, you can pit your reflexes in a Demolition Derby and go wild in free-roaming, freestyle stunt parks.

If you want to win, all you have to do is follow the simple steps below and check out the terms and conditions. Good luck!

How to enter

Step 1

Think up a brilliant answer to the following:

We want to be impressed, so be creative folks! Make us laugh, make us cry, blow our minds – emote!

Step 2

This bit is important, as your entry will only be valid if you follow the rules. So pay close attention peeps.

1. Write the reason you should win in our comments section below, BUT DON’T POST IT JUST YET…

2. Before you post your reason make sure you sign in using your FACEBOOK or TWITTER login, THEN…

3. Once you’re logged in, tick the little icon in the bottom left that says Share on Facebook/Twitter – when a little green tick appears on the icon you know it’s worked. THEN…

4. Hit the POST button and you’re done!

5. We’ll be contacting the winner via Facebook message or Twitter direct message, so make sure you keep an eye on your inbox, and that you can receive messages from those you aren’t following (@electricpig will be the handle contacting you).

    “I should blag a copy of DiRT Showdown and an Xbox 360 because….”Like Derek Acorah I too have the ability to channel the spirits, and I am currently being possessed by several rally drivers from the 1920s. As you can guess this is a somewhat chaotic experience, and the only way to placate these speedy spirits is to drive my car in a reckless and foolhardy manner , which is not conducive to safe diving practises and in keeping with the current highway rules and regulations. So I need a simulation so realistic and mind blowing that my ghostly passengers will be satisfied and I can carry on my existence with minimal danger and impact to my otherwise uneventful lifestyle…..

    I should blag a copy of DiRT Showdown and an Xbox 360 because….I’ve just paid out £200 for my car to be fixed and the day after My Xbo 360 (4 year old grey one) decides to not display any picture on the tv. With everything checked over and still no luck, I’ve been told I will need it repaired. However, since it is so old, a brand new more economical. longer laster, smaller version would make my day and save me a ton more money.

    my dad is a rally driver…in his head. ive got childhood memories of
    being thrown around the back seat as he went round corners, or over
    bridges… (no seatbelts in those days), and injuring all body parts,
    including some that hadnt been invented. all the blows to my head back
    then, probably explains alot now. anyway, this way, he could finally be
    a  dirt driver. thankyou.

    components Marty McFly and I will never get back to the present… I mean, the
    past… I mean, our time! 1985!!! I wish there was time to explain everything,
    but if I take too long the very time-space continuum will be shattered, and the
    future as you know it will cease to exist! Marty and I came here in order to
    stop a terrible accident, but in the process my modified DeLorean time-machine
    was damaged and now we have no way to get back to our own time. Luckily I’ve
    come up with a way to modify an Xbox 360 in order to provide us with the 1.21
    gigawatts of electicity we need, but the formula also requires this exact steering-wheel
    controller and game (I don’t have time to explain why).   Please,
    only you can help us correct the timeline and set everything straight! Oh no…
    Run for it Marty! They’ve found us! It’s the Libyans!!!

    game and steering wheel to train my henchmen to drive the escape vehicles for
    what will be the greatest heist in history! Allow me to explain. You see, I
    have come up with a foolproof plan to raid the largest gold bullion depository
    in the world: Fort Knox, Kentucky! Laugh all you like Mr. Bond, but I assure
    you, neither you nor your government will be able to stop us. This heist, which
    I have codenamed Operation Electricpig, in honour of the website who provided
    us with our training materials, has been meticulously planned down to the
    finest detail. My henchmen, led by my eight-foot tall psychopath, Mantooth, will
    infiltrate the military base after the guards have been drugged by the charming
    Miss Pussy Galore and her debutante assassins! We will then break into the
    bullion depository using a controlled, thermo-nuclear device, carefully load
    the gold into the back of our convoy of escape vehicles, and drive them
    straight on to Mexico where our private space-shuttle is waiting. Don’t believe
    me, Mr. Bond? Well, I’m afraid you won’t be alive to see the plan come to
    fruition anyway. Mantooth! Take Mr. Bond, chain him to the outside of my secret
    volcano lair, cover him in yogurt, and wait for him to be devoured alive by the
