Another day, another Samsung Galaxy S3 leak. We don’t exactly want to get preoccupied with Samsung to the point where we’re reporting on literally every rumour going, but when a leaked photo comes along that looks genuinely feasible, and it’s of one of the biggest handset launches of the entire year, you’ve got to give it the time of day. Join us, then, as we play another round of: Is this the Samsung Galaxy S3?
This time the shot in question comes from a tipster who’s passed on what he believes to be the Galaxy S3 to Phone Arena. Over the last few weeks we’ve seen a whole raft of these shots crop up, and each time the phone’s in a different casing.
This leads us to believe that Samsung’s sent the handset out to the various people it needs to in a selection of dummy builds, so as not to give anything away. Thing is, this one seems by far and away the most likely design for the Galaxy S3. There’s enough of the S2 here to look familiar, with just enough newness at the same time.
Things of note? The screen looks huge, with a tiny bezel around the side. There’s also a physical home button, sitting aside two capacitive buttons – that rings true with other leaked images we’ve seen.
And… That’s about all we can decipher. All will be revealed next Thursday, when Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S3. We’ll be there to bring you all the news. In the mean time, let us know your thoughts: is this the ‘next Galaxy’?
