I used to have an android phone, although the live wallpapers and widgets are pretty, I realised they were a battery life axe murderers. Im not sure if this is a widespread problem, but I much prefer the iPhone, though I agree that the functionality needs increased, I wouldn’t mind at all if the UI remained the same.

Am I the only person who thinks it would be nice to pull a page from Android and see an integration of live wallpapers??? While all these features are amazing and well wanted by me also I’m tired of the only comeback Android users have is that they have the live wallpapers and what not. Time to go above and beyond and leave these other smartphones in the dust!!!!!!

Simplicity is the mark of genius. Look at the evolution of motor cars from push-to-start to crank-to-start to key-turn to start to (now, for some) proximity to start. Look at personal computers, going from 8-bit machine code to BASIC to DOS apps to GUI. No product ever got anywhere by introducing needless complexity.
If you want ‘features’, then go back to a feature-phone. The ideal OS — when it arrives — will be completely transparent and you won’t feel that you are working through an OS at all.

As Apple banned blogging from WWDC 2012 events, they should also impose ban on bloggers and publishers to write about Apple rumours and tittle-tattles. They are so annoying now.
