Im not sure if this is a widespread problem, but I much prefer the iPhone, though I agree that the functionality needs increased, I wouldn't mind at all if the UI remained the same. Time to go above and beyond and leave these other smartphones in the dust!!!!!! Look at the evolution of motor cars from push-to-start to crank-to-start to key-turn to start to (now, for some) proximity to start. Look at personal computers, going from 8-bit machine code to BASIC to DOS apps to GUI. No product ever got anywhere by introducing needless complexity.  If you want 'features', then go back to a feature-phone. The ideal OS — when it arrives — will be completely transparent and you won't feel that you are working through an OS at all.  Simplicity is the mark of genius. They are so annoying now. As Apple banned blogging from WWDC 2012 events, they should also impose ban on bloggers and publishers to write about Apple rumours and tittle-tattles.
