Just a day after we revealed EA’s awesome Battlefield 3 deal, Activision and Steam have teamed up to bring you a full weekend (and then some) of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for absolutely nothing.
The free Modern Warfare 3 weekend kicks off from 6pm GMT today (which says some odd things about what Valve thinks is a ‘weekend’), and stretches on until Monday. If you want to get cracking as soon as the clock strikes 6, you can sign in (or sign up) now and pre-load the game onto your PC for absolutely nothing by clicking this link.
Steam shows the gaming industry how it’s done
The only caveat to this is that you won’t be able to play the single player campaign. The version of Modern Warfare 3 that you’ll have free access to only features the multiplayer mode. But it is the full multiplayer mode. For free. For 4 days.
