The RUU (ROM Update Utility) allows us a sneak peak into how Android 4.0 will look on devices such as the HTC Sensation XE, with HTC’s Sense skin slathered over the top.
Sense UI 4.0 looks like a far more grown-up skin than previous iterations, with less flashiness and more of the classy Android Roboto font on show. The lock screen seems to be highly customisable, with the HTC ring in these screens sitting underneath contacts, stocks and gallery shortcuts alike.
HTC drops the ball with its Android updates
Last week we brought you news that HTC has dropped the ball with its Android 4.0 updates. The date has been pushed back to late March for the top end handsets and ‘later this year’ for the rest. However long you have to wait, at least you now know what you’ll be getting.
