Instagram for the iPhone is one of those few apps that can really make a difference in phone purchasing decisions, such is its popularity. The app’s absence from the Android Market hasn’t gone unnoticed, but now that looks like it’s about to change.

Now evidence has come along to suggest that Instagram for Android is very much just around the corner. The above screenshot was taken on a InFlexWeTrust member’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Alas, the link in the Market didn’t lead anywhere, but it points to the fact that it’s about to land.

With Instagram and Temple Run both coming to Android this month, the iPhone may be running out of exclusive must-haves.
