Samsung has just dropped us a friendly note to say that the white version of the flagship Galaxy Nexus is set for launch in the UK just 3 months after the launch of the original device. Read on for the launch date and full details.

The white Galaxy Nexus will land in stores countrywide on February 13th. “After much speculation, we are pleased to announce the availability of the Galaxy Nexus White which follows the great reception the phone has received since it was launched back in November,” says the company’s Simon Stanford.

“One of the things we at Samsung pride ourselves on is the choice we offer customers, and we’ve enjoyed huge success to date by introducing white variants of our most popular models to our product portfolio.”

The white Galaxy Nexus kind of shows Apple how it’s done. The three month wait is nothing compared to the epic 10-month wait that Apple fans had to endure for the ivory-hued iPhone 4.

In terms of specs, the white Galaxy Nexus is identical to the black launch model: you’re still looking at a 4.65’’ HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2HGz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera and Android 4.0. Will you be in line for a white Galaxy Nexus? Let us know below.
