Mobile World Congress 2012 is right around the corner, and it seems Samsung has at least one new smartphone to reveal at the trade show. The Android-powered Samsung Galaxy S Advanced has popped up in the Philippines, despite no official word from the manufacturer.

The Galaxy S Advance comes with a 4-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, a 5-megapixel main camera, front-facing secondary camera and Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface slathered all over the top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. If there’s enough RAM available, we’d guess this will be upgradeable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the near future.
