If you work in the kind of office that gives you about as much freedom on your computer as the average sex offender, you’ll know the pains involved in having to run on an outdated web browser. Struggle no more: you can now run any browser without having to install it first.

The new service, from Spoon.net, a company who’s main aim is helping out developers with desktop virtualisations has launched ‘Browser Sandbox’ which lets you run any web browser within your normal browser.

Mozilla set to unleash a gaming browser?

It’s built to allow developers to test apps and websites on various browsers without having to install them all, but it’s also a godsend to anyone who’s stuck struggling with an old browser at work. …Although there is a big catch: unless you want to pay $8 (£5.20) per month, you only get 2 minutes of browsing every 24 hours.

The Browser Sandbox offers you a choice of multiple versions of Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera and more.

Head to Spoon.net/browsers to have a play. There’s currently no Mac support, but it’s being worked on.

My workplace is tighter than a ducks arse, you need a browser plugin to run the programme and my system is locked down to prevent any installation…. :o (

Yo dawg, we heard you like to browse, so we put a browser in your browser so you can browse while you browse.

I used to use a browser in a browser like you, until I took an arrow in the knee.

Use USB version then. One of my friends like using all kinds of USB version applications. If there exists an USB version, he never install the executable files.
