The Sony Xperia S was undoubtedly one of the highlights of CES in Las Vegas last week, courtesy of its HD screen, Sony branding and Walkman style looks. We brought you the first word of when it would ship last week: now we’ve got the exact launch date, and you can place your dibs on one now.
Commendably transparent retailer Clove.co.uk says that the Sony Xperia S will be available in the UK from the week of 5 March, priced at £467.99 SIM-free, and is accepting orders now. For your money, you’ll get a 4.3-inch 720p screen, 32GB of storage, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and a high-resolution 12 megapixel camera. What you won’t get, however, is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich: that’s coming in a later update.
UK mobile store Phones4U says it will also sell the Sony Xperia S in March, and has exclusivity on the white model.
