How Kinect for PCs will change computing

While there’ve been no demos or screenshots showing how this’ll work in practice, the general idea is that you’ll be able to browse the web or navigate around your compute using simple gestures, expressions and voice commands.

Microsoft is hurrying this update out in time for Windows 8, the cornerstone of its now unified product line. With Windows 8 boasting a cleaner and more ergonomic desktop operating system and Kinect now bringing your body and voice int the mix, is Microsoft sitting at the frontier of computing for once?
