Christmas Day is over and done with again for another year, but for many, it’s today that matters: up and down the land, crunch matches are taking place. Chelsea are taking on Fulham in the West London derby, West Brom face the mighty Man City and more. If you can’t be there though, don’t despair: here’s how you can still find live football streaming online to watch your team on the go.

We went over how to get live football streaming on your phone, laptop or tablet earlier this year, and by and large, those techniques still stand true. Let’s break them down.

On iOS
Sky subscribers can tune in on their iPhone or iPad runnings iOS 4.2 or higher courtesy of the ace Sky Go app. If you’re a Sky Sports subscriber, you can get this at no charge, but don’t worry if you don’t have a dish: sign up for the £35 monthly ticket and you can get Sky Sports on your iPhone instantly too.

Do bear in mind that the 3pm restriction for showing live games in the UK is in place on Boxing Day, so you won’t be able to watch any 3pm games, but AFC Wimbledon vs Oxford United is on Sky Sports 1 at 12.15pm, followed by Birmingham City versus West Ham at 5.30pm and Stoke City versus Aston Villa at 8pm, so you’ll be able to catch all of those.

On Android
While Sky Go is coming to Android, it isn’t out yet, so that won’t be of much use for anyone who wants to watch live streaming football today. There are other options however: if you’ve got a SlingPlayer box, you’ll be able to get Sky Sports and the day’s games on your Android phone. Realistically, without a Slingbox, your best bet is to try a live highlights app with the goals. ESPN Goals is now free, and a fantastic way to catch the goals over Wi-Fi or 3G.

Of course, there is a decidedly non-legal alternative: as we’ve shown, many fans are turning to Flash streams of foreign channels to get round the restrictions – almost all Premiership and even many Championship games are shown live somewhere abroad.

On BlackBerry
If you’ve got a BlackBerry running OS 5.0 or higher (That’s every model for the last two years covered), ESPN Goals is also available for free on the BlackBerry App World – SlingPlayer will also work, but setting up a set top box and so forth is a bit overkill.

On Windows Phone
Sadly, there’s no Sky Go or ESPN Goals equivalent for Windows Phone just yet, so if you’ve just unwrapped a Nokia Lumia 800, you’re a bit stuffed for now – although there is a SlingPlayer app available.
