The T-Mobile Vivacity by ZTE might be the perfect thing for anyone who wants to give the gift of Android this Christmas but hasn’t got an endless budget. The low-cost Android phone has just launched with the right balance of specs, design and wallet-friendly price.
Made by T-mobile and Orange’s go-to budget handset makers ZTE, the T-Mobile Vivacity boasts a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch display, expandable storage up to 32GB, WiFi, 3G and a design that’ll be familiar to anyone who’s ever seen an iPhone 4. It’s comfortably in the budget zone alongside the Orange Monte Carlo and Orange San Francisco.
ZTE? Meet the smartphone makers you’ve never heard of
The inbuilt memory is a paltry 512MB and the processor is a last-gen 600MHz, but the T-Mobile Vivacity does run the more than passable Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and undercuts almost every other smartphone in terms of price. You can pick one up for just £10 per month on a 2-year contract or for a very tempting £99 on Pay As You Go
