Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you added a green warp pipe from Super Mario Bros to the top of your cistern, and your toilet made the warp noise every time you flushed it? No? Bet you want to see now though, don’t you?
In an absolutely barmy but brilliant tutorial posted on Instructables today, yardleydobon shows how you can create a warp pipe (Complete with 8-bit gradation), and rig your toilet to make the sound effect when you pull the handle.
The hack actually works by way of an old Nintendo keychain which makes the warp pipe sound when you press a button: these aren’t too hard to come by, as they can be bought on eBay for under £6. The more pressing question though: just what’s going down the warp pipe when you flush?
