A Panasonic Android phone could be on the way to blow all other camera phones out of the water in 2012. That’s according to a posting on PR Week to announce that the company is looking for an agency to help it launch handsets in Europe.

Panasonic Android phones are already on sale in Japan, the top end of which boast Lumix camera features such as a 10.1-Megapixel Panasonic Lumix sensor and proper optical zoom, which pretty much dwarfs anything found on current UK Android phones.

There’s no word yet from Panasonic in terms of handset specs. We’ve asked for feedback and will come back with any update, although it’s been reported that a standard ‘no comment’ response has already bounced back elsewhere. What would you want to see from a Panasonic Android phone? Let us know in the comments section below.

    wp7 has failed so badly,

for three years ago wp has got a market share of 5%

now the market share is under 1%

    6.5 has failed

    Kin has  failed

    wp7 has failed.

Samsungs own OS Bada Outsells wp7. I think with no games and no apps its hard to compete.Lte or 4G or Dual core. wp7 is outdated loosers OS

Lumix Phone Yes please, I so would love a Android Lumix phone with Xenon flash, most Android phone cameras are disappointing in low light.
