Modern Warfare 3’s just days away from hitting shelves. But Activision is still drip-feeding us news of what we can expect from what’s bound to be 2011’s best-selling game. Today it’s unveiled a new trailer which touts new multiplayer bonus modes and new rewards for using your smarts to outwit opponents. Read on for all the details.
Gamers who snag Modern Warfare 3 on 8 November will be able to revel in a new “Kill Confirmed” game, where you and your fellow fighters must grab opponents’ dog tags to score points. What’s more, if you tear off a teammate’s dog tags after they’ve been taken down, you’ll deny the opposition points.
The classic “capture the flag” mode has also been given a new look, with gamers able to fight to see how long they can retain a flag before losing it to an opposing team. A new strike class package will also hand out rewards for using different skills to take on other players.
