Forget Star Wars Kinect, check out this Microsoft Kinect controlled Delta Robot. In its current state, the three arms allow for an incredible range of motion. One possible application would be to replace the joystick or directional pad used in tradition toy claw machines. It would certainly make grabbing that prize a heck of a lot easier.
How will Asus battle Apple’s MacBook Air? By launching up to six Intel Ultrabooks ranging in screen size from 11.6 to 13.3-inches. The news came straight from Asus chairman Jonney Shih who also confirmed pricing would start at $899 (£552). Depending on screen size and features, this price could sky rocket to $1999 (£1228). All thing considered, Asus might have what it takes to give Apple a run for its money.
It’s time to turn your iPad into a mobile television. Elgato’s EyeTV Mobile is the world’s first Freeview tuner which connects directly to the iPad’s standard dock connector. The Motorola Defy achieved a real feat when we reviewed it by managing to be a rugged phone that was actually good. Clumsy Android fans should rejoice then that its successor, the Motorola Defy+ will make its UK debut this month.
