HTC Runnymede proves no smartphone screen is too big4.7-inches. That’s right, as if 4.5-inches wasn’t enough, the upcoming HTC Runnymede, as first discovered by PocketNow, will sport an enormous display which blurs the line between smartphone and tablet. Correct us if we’re wrong, but didn’t Dell have a five-inch tablet not too long ago? Here’s the full rundown on the HTC Runnymede.

The HTC Runnymede, like many smartphone prototypes, was discovered through the EXIF data of images submitted to a photo sharing site. Today, we have what some believe are the official specs: Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, 1.5 GHZ single-core MSM8255 processor, 768MB RAM, 16GB storage, 8-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, Sense 3.5 and DLNA support. The Runnymede will also come bundled with Beats headphones.

Since the phone was discovered via images captured by its camera, it’s only fitting that it would provide additional insight. The camera features a 28mm wide-angle lens with a 2.2 f-stop. That beats the iPhone 4’s f/2.8 so we expect excellent low-light imagery. Also, in terms of video, the sensor can allegedly capture at 60 frames per second, double that of most competing smartphones.
