Samsung revealed the Bada 2.0 last week and promised three new Bada phones were set for launch. And now they’re hear, rocking Samsung’s new nifty naming convention. Click through for all the details on the Samung Wave 3, Samsung Wave M and Samsung Wave Y…
First up there’s the top-of-the-line Samsung Wave 3 with a 4in WVGA Super AMOLED screen and 1.4GHz processor packed into a 9.9mm thick brushed aluminum shell.
Inside the Samsung Wave 3, you’ll get Wi-Fi Direct for hooking up an ad-hoc connection with other compatible devices, a 5MP camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facging camera. With Bada 2.0, it’ll also feature Samsung’s Social Hub which pulls together Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and the Music Hub powered by 7digital.
The Samsung Wave M has a 3.65in LCD screen, an 832MHz processor, 5MP camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera, Wi-Fi Direct and, curiously, ‘optional’ NFC. Meanwhile the budget Samsung Wave Y has a 3.2in LCD screen, a 2MP camera with LED and again touts NFC as an option.
Samsung hasn’t revealed UK pricing or release dates for the trio of new Bada handsets yet but we’ll bring you them as soon as we can. Check out of Samsung Wave 2 review to find out what we thought of Bada last time round.
