If you were hoping to get in on the Assassin’s Creed Revelations multiplayer beta kicking off next month we hope you own a PlayStation 3. The game’s creator, Ubisoft, has just come forward to confirm the multiplayer beta will be a PS3 exclusive. The beta will available first to PlayStation Plus and Uplay members between September 3rd and 8th followed by all PS3 owners on September 9th.
Here’s what we know about the Assassin’s Creed Revelations multiplayer beta: The beta will feature nine characters: the sentinel, the vanguard, the guardian, the vizier, the thespian, the deacon, the bombardier, the trickster and the champion. There were four game modes (wanted, manhunt, death-match and artifact assault) and three maps: the Knight’s Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople.
According to Geeky-Gadgets, eight abilities are available in the beta, but only some of them are usable from the outset. Others must be unlocked by increasing your rank. There’s been no word on a PC or Xbox 360 multiplayer beta at this time. It looks like the rest of the gaming community will have to sit this one out and wait for the game’s official release on November 15th.
