S, as the name implies, stands for speed. Samsung Series 7 Chronos laptop packs quad-core i7, boots in 19 secondsAt IFA 2011 this morning, Samsung unveiled its new Series 7 Chronos laptop. Powered by an Intel i7 quad-core processor, this 15-inch laptop touts an ultra-slim bezel which accommodates a 15.6-inch display. The aluminum body, black chiclet keys and over-sized trackpad look awfully familiar; thankfully these similarities are only skin deep.

3G MacBook Pro prototype was real: Apple wants it back!Remember the alleged MacBook Pro prototype sporting a slide-out antenna and SIM card slot? Well, apparently after Apple canceled the bidding on the eBay auction, an auction which topped $70,000, the man in possession of the laptop, Carl Frega, decided to keep it rather than resell it. Today, Frega claims Apple contacted him to send someone to his house to pick it up.

HTC Jetstream is official, lands September 4 on AT&TThe rumors have panned out. HTC’s first 10.1-inch tablet, which also happens to be AT&T’s first 4G LTE/HSPA+ tablet, will arrive in company-owned retails stores starting September 4. The HTC Jetstream runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb and packs a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor. HTC Scribe support is also confirmed so be prepared to doodle with the optional digital pen.

Other highlights to the HTC Jetstream include 1080p playback and capture, Adobe Flash Player, HTC Sense UX for tablets, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, microSD card slot and a massive 7,300 mAh battery. Dimensions-wise the Jetstream is 7-inches long, 9.87 inches wide and .51 inches deep, and weighs 25 ounes.
