Toshiba’s just outed the world’s first glasses-free 3D laptop, the Qosmio F750 3D. The 15.6-incher uses the same tech as the company’s glasses-free 3D, the REGZA GL1, so a lenticular screen sends images with different perspectives to each eye, which your brain reads as a 3D image.

All very impressive, but we’ve got some reservations. Read on to see why we’re not quite reaching for the popcorn just yet.

Ah Portal 2, the gift that keeps on giving! After releasing Portal 2 Soundtrack Volume 1: Songs To Test By in May, Valve has outed a whole new batch of tracks to enjoy. Portal 2 Soundtrack Volume 2: Music To Test To.

The second volume of Portal 2 tunes features 18 tracks with all of them available as ringtones for Android and iPhone. If current cache of 40 songs from Portal 2 is not enough for you, Valve is already teasing a third soundtrack volume. Check out our favourite track from new album after the break.

It was inevitable really. With Google+ invites still thin on the ground, spammers have swooped in to lure unsuspecting social networking fans into surfing to a site selling Viagra.

Sophos flagged up the scam which is spreading via emails that closely mimic the Google+ invite but, in fact, send you to a site called the Canadian Family Pharmacy.

As Sophos notes, the scam is pretty amateur right now but more sophisticated attempts at swindling would be Google+ users are no doubt in the works. Have you been hit with a fake Google+ invite? Click the headline and hop into the comments to let us know.

The HP TouchPad has only just arrived and already the webOS bandwagon is moving on. An internal HP briefing document has slipped out onto the web and reveals that a new white HP TouchPad with 64GB of storage is due for an August launch.

Aside from its glossy white shell and extra storage, the new HP TouchPad model is also set to get an upgraded processor (most likely a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip). That would go along way to dealing with the sluggish performance we decried in our HP TouchPad review.

With the original HP TouchPad not due to drop in the UK until the middle of this month, when or if we’ll get the upgraded white model isn’t clear.

It’s not just Apple who had a taste of life being hacked this morning: the official Twitter feed for Fox News was also hacked, falsely reporting that Barack Obama had been assassinated. Well now those responsible have stepped forward, and it’s a group affiliated with Anonymous, them of the hack that brought down the Sony PlayStation Network a couple of months ago.
