According to both Capcom and the instruction manual, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, was never meant for the secondhand market. In the US, video game rental company GameFly has classified the title as “Not Rentable”. Unlike other 3DS titles, Mercenaries 3D saves game data directly to the cartridge, carrying over all skill points and mission scores.

Blizzard has taken a big step in luring more gamers to World of Warcraft addiction. With one eye on the spread of free-to-play MMOs, it’s announced a new way in to the game called World of Warcraft Starter Edition. It’ll allow you to download the game and play until your character reaches level 20.
There are some other restrictions – gold is tops out at 10 and trade skills at 100 plus the Auction House, mailbox and player-to-player trading are blocked as well as public and voice chat. As a free player, you’ll also be barred from joining guilds. Hit level 20 and you’ll need to upgrade to a paid subscription. Blizzard is betting you’ll be hooked by then.
