Samsung has announced the Conquer 4G, an entry-level Android smartphone packing a 1 GHz processor, 3.2-megapixel camera and 4G WiMax support. Even more interesting is that it runs a vanilla build of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. T-Mobile is heading to a world of unlimited data plans. The company confirmed starting tomorrow, July 1, a summer promotion dubbed ‘truly unlimited internet’ begins. Until 30 September sign up with a 24 month plan of £25.52 or higher and lock in two years of uncapped data.
HP has finally decided to consider licensing webOS. One of its most prominent suitors, Samsung, looks to be a favorite to release a webOS device. Will we see Samsung webOS tablets debut at CES 2012? Apple’s £39 Thunderbolt cable caused quite an uproar when it was released this week. The folks at iFixIt.com hope to tear back the casing and reveal whether there’s value in this Apple accessory.
