L.A. Noire heads to the PC this fall, GTA 5 next?Well looky here. Rockstar Games, by way of Rockstar Leeds, has announced plans to bring its wildly successful crime thriller L.A. Noire to the PC this fall. The move from console to PC brings a world of customization, including keyboard mapping and enhanced gamepad functionality. Trust us when we say this is not your everyday port.

How do you take L.A. Noire to the next level? How about taking it to the next dimension. The PC version will add 3D gameplay, delivering “an even greater sense of interaction and immersion within a painstakingly detailed 1940s Los Angeles.” Life as Detective Cole Phelps will never feel so real.

Given the move from console to PC for L.A. Noire, we can only imagine a world where GTA 5 receives a similar port. As fun as console gaming can be, it’s hard to beat a keyboard and mouse for precision gaming. If Rockstar Games announces GTA 5 for the PC who’s ready for a pre-order?

It all depends if you are good with the keyboard when it comes to playing pc games.

r u stupid, console is way better when it comes to precise movement, and it is also way more convinitent for ur every day gamer

  • Precise

‘r u stupid’ clearly. But when it comes to precision, there is nothing more precise than the mouse

Precision is hardly something LA Noire requires. But it could make GTA 5 interesting….

Console gaming is just the same as PC gaming except easier to set up. Controllers beat mouses and keyboards anyday. Precision bullshit, the mouse is probably quicker for FPS games but even then u have to be an experienced PC player, meaning you probably don’t have a life. Controllers you can get used to in 5 mins and they are just as good and are a lot better for most gametypes.

It’s not an argument I really like to get into. Why not both? As you say, console gaming is so much easier to simply slip into, and why shouldn’t people have that? But I don’t think you can deny that mouse and keyboards combos make for more precision – Microsoft has even tried cross PC and Xbox gaming, and found that Xbox gamers were just at too much of a disadvantage. If PC gaming is what you’re into, crack on, I say.
