The new MacBook Air rumours have now been joined by chatter about refreshes for the Mac Mini and Mac Pro. CNET writer, Brian Tong, who got a solid tip off about the new iMac back in May, says new Mac Pros and Mac Minis will drop late next month or in early August.
If Apple does kick out updated versions of its both its heavy duty and bite-size desktops, we’d expect to see Thunderbolt (Intel’s new turbo-speed connection) making an appearance. It would be especially welcome on the Mac Pro which mainly ends up in the hands of hardcore video editors and serious coders who crave those high data transfer speeds.
