Push your keyboard to one side, Google Chrome will now listen to your queries. Google voice search which has been built into the search giant’s mobile apps for some time has now hit the desktop. The Google Chrome voice control features are rolling out now and all you need to use them is a built-in mic.

To access voice search in Google Chrome, you simply click the microphone icon in the far right corner of the search box and speak your query. Google says its English voice search system now recognises 230 billion words and the guy demonstrating it in the video after the break shows off a little (“weather for Schenectady, New York”, anyone?)…
