When Google announced an ADK allow with Android Ice Cream Sandwich to allow developers to control hardware, it was almost inevitable that we’d get a moving Android mascot.
But the disco dancing droid created by Chris Elliot is a real treat with light up LED eyes and four servo motors lurking inside to articulate the head, body and arms. Chris says he’ll out the source code for making a disco dancing Android soon as well as offering up the build plans for getting all the right guts sorted. We’re definitely tempted to build our own but might just settle for one of those pop culture parodying Android t-shirts instead.
