Assassin’s Creed for Wii U is already in the works. That’s not an incredible surprise since Ubisoft popped up during the Wii U launch event talking about Assassin’s Creed. But it is intriguing to hear the developers already talking about their future plans.

While the game is in a very early stage of its development, Ubisoft talked about some of the concepts its playing with during an E3 round table. Even with those few teasing details, we’re excited to see Assassin’s Creed strut its stuff on Wii U. Here’s what Ubisoft has in mind…

Letting their mind’s run wild over the possibilities of the Wii U controller, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed team says its already exploring the idea of placing an on-screen map, interactive databases, fast weapon selection, AR puzzles and Eagle Vision on the touchscreen.

Ubisoft says its also excited about the Wii U’s increased graphical grunt with a promise to fully use the current Assassin’s Creed Anvil Engine for the title. That means we should see all the shading and details you’d get on other consoles coming to Wii U.

Other details on the incarnation of Assassin’s Creed headed for Wii U are non-existent. Perhaps we’ll even get a new title rather than a port of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Hit the comments to let us know what you’d like to see Assassin’s Creed do with the Wii U hardware.

I think that their best bet is to launch some sort of thing like “Assasin’s Creed: Ezio’s Trilogy”. Putting all the chapteros of Ezio’s story (AC2, AC: Brotherhood, AC: Revelations) for the upcoming Wii U console, and put them all as a single story-line game, you get me? The single player mode would be all 3 chapters played as it is one single game and not switching from one game to the other. I’d play that! (even though I’ve played AC2, already), in my opinion would be nice, the whole story of Ezio played as a single game ^^
