It’s been a tense morning in tech, with several huge events scheduled to start in just a few hours time. We’ve got the build up, plus plenty more titbits for you right here in our lunchtime lowdown news roundup.
First up, let’s talk mobile. A big new leak showed the Motorola Droid 3 in the flesh, and confirmed some juicy specs for us – fingers crossed it makes it to the UK sat the Motorola Milestone 3 sometime soon.
But all eyes are focused on tonight. At 6pm UK time, Apple kicks off WWDC with its keynote, where Steve Jobs will reveal iOS 5, iCloud, and according to rumours, lots more juicy nuggets.
Microsoft meanwhile will be showcasing everything new for the Xbox 360 as E3 kicks off in Los Angeles – we’ll be covering it all as it happens, naturally. Speaking of E3 – Nintendo‘s new console has an official name according to one report. And it’s one that’s been sitting in front of us all along.
