The quest for the holy grail of a proper Star Wars lightsaber game? It may have just been ended by Star Wars Kinect. News had earlier spread of the game’s details, but E3 attendees got to see more of the Force-filled title in action.
Details were actually revealed about the game earlier. it will feature a Jedi where players take on the role of a character from the Star Wars universe amidst the backdrop of a story from Revenge of the Sith.
As expected players will be swinging lightsabers using their bare hands, as well as leap over obstacles and use their hands to wield Force powers. Players will require both hands to shift heavy objects. As motion-controlled Star Wars games though, Star Wars Kinect looks like it will take some beating. The demo stopped when the player encountered Darth Vader, just as we wanted to see more.
