Amidst the EA Sports press conference at E3 2011, the gaming empire has unveiled SSX: Deadly Descents. We can now confirm with absolutely certainty the game will launch in January of next year. Over on the official SSX Facebook page two characters, Elise and Mac, have been announced with a third character promised by the end of E3.
There’s three game modes in SSX: Deadly Descents: race it, trick it and survive it. Each offering a distinct “new way to play the game”. The setting for Deadly Descents begins in the Himalayas where you have two goals: survive and look good doing it. As you continue around the globe you’ll face the worst that Mother Nature can throw at you, battling with your team to be the first to reach the bottom of the most dangerous mountain ranges on the planet.
In total there’s 10 racers to choose from, but for now we can only confirm the first two riders. The third rider, scheduled to be announced later this week, will be unveiled on the game’s Facebook page. The remaining 7 riders will follow as we approach the January launch.
