As yet another best Android apps of the week round-up looms into view, we’re struggling to overcome the relaxing effects of two bank holidays in a row – plus the obvious benefit that a Royal Wedding brings to the working population of our fair land (here’s a clue: it was a four-day weekend). Although returning to the rat race is bothersome, the spare time has at least allowed us to ruthlessly download scores of Android games and apps – the best of which can be found just below these very words.

If you’ve got a Nintendo 3DS and love the augmented reality smarts, why not get an AR card tattoo? Because it’s permanent and might make you look like a total plum? Yes, good answer. However, I Heart Chaos’s Cranberryzero thought differently and got a Nintendo 3DS AR card inked onto his inner arm.
You can see a video of him showing the AR card tattoo in action after the break and some snaps of it above. However, though it does work, he says the ink needs a little touch up: “I think I need to go back and get an outline around it, because I think the 3DS is looking for the edge of the card and can’t find it in bright light.” Click through to see it working…
