Uber-cute robot dino Pleo is back in business with a new owner and a second generation robot called the Pleo rb. Sadly, that meant the leaf-munching bot has to be put through its paces by the FCC in the US in the digital equivalent of a living autopsy.

The improved Pleo has a new RFID reader in its chin which will be used to activate different behaviour and there’s a brace of new sensors to make the little dino seem even more lifelike.
