Apple is looking for someone to oversee media streaming, according to a job advert on its website. And that can only mean one thing

Rumours are rife that Apple is launching an iTunes streaming service, and the rumour mill has gone into overdrive since the company advertised for a “Media Streaming Engineer Manager” to join the firm. The successful applicant will develop the streaming engine for iOS, Mac OS X, and Windows products, according to the job posting.

With rumours Apple has already bought up the iCloud.com domain name, and a data centre housing more than 500,000 square feet of server space nearing completion, surely an iPod Cloud can’t be far off? The latest incarnation of Apple TV is purely a streaming device, after all, and Apple isn’t known for launching services without products to back them up, so it’d make perfect sense for an iPod Cloud to launch.
