A free BlackBerry PlayBook? Oh yes. Electricpig is giving one lucky reader the chance to own one of the hottest tablets of 2011. So hot, in fact, that it’s not even available in the shops yet! The PlayBook features a stunningly sharp 7-inch display and is Flash-enabled, making it the perfect tablet for browsing the web. BlackBerry’s App World it stocked with over 3,000 apps, from games like Angry Birds to the latest business apps for the suited and booted. To be a lucky owner of one before it’s even released in the UK, all you have to do is tell us why you deserve one – and follow the simple steps below.

How to enter

Step 1

Think up a brilliant answer to the following:

“I deserve to own a BlackBerry PlayBook before it’s even out in the shops because….”

We want to be impressed, so be creative folks! Make us laugh, make us cry, blow our minds – emote!

Step 2

This bit is important, as your entry will only be valid if you follow the rules. So pay close attention peeps.

1. Write the reason you should win in our comments section below, BUT DON’T POST IT JUST YET…

2. Before you post your reason make sure you sign in using your FACEBOOK or TWITTER login, THEN…

3. Once you’re logged in, tick the little icon in the bottom left that says Share on Facebook/Twitter – when a little green tick appears on the icon you know it’s worked. THEN…

4. Hit the POST button and you’re done! :)

5. We’ll be contacting the winner via Facebook message or Twitter direct message, so make sure you keep an eye on your inbox, and that you can receive messages from those you aren’t following (@electricpig will be the handle contacting you).

    “I deserve to own a BlackBerry Playbook before it’s even out in the shops because, being a public transport nerd and a techie geek on a tight budget, I could make very good use of it whilst I while away the hours sat on the train, bus, plane or the tube. If I had to save up for it, it would be supper seeded several times by the time I got it, I would always be behind the times, let down by gadgets destined for antique fairs, this is an opportunity for me to climb to the top of the technological mountain for the first time in my life!!”

    my kids think I am an old fashioned technophobe – I’m not!  If I had the blackberry tablet it would be a bitter pill for them to swallow, but it would pep me up no end and make them jealous as hell and wowed by my new found cool!

    I deserve to own a BlackBerry PlayBook before it’s even out in the shops because everytime i try to purchase anything even remotely as good my cashcard goes into the ATM then immediately flies back out almost whacking me in the face with a message on the screen saying “insufficient funds”. Help!

    I deserve to own a BlackBerry PlayBook before it’s even out in the shops because every time I win a prize – usually some silly small prize like a book or cushion – my daughter’s boss tells her to F Off.  So if I won a really good prize like this, I wonder what he would say then!!!  Also it would make my brother jealous, and I love making my brother jealous.  We still call each other git and turd and we are 46 and 52 :)

    I deserve to own a BlackBerry PlayBook before it’s even out in the shops because…once…..just ONCE I want to be the cool guy in the office people huddle around to check out the newest tech, I want to be the cool Dad other Dad’s congregate around at Cubs drop-off to check out the latest uber-cool gadget…. I want to be the guy that others look at and say “is that the new BlackBerry PlayBook?….wow you’re cool” and to hear my kids tell deliver the lines I have made them rehearse over and over again “yeah, really……well my Dad’s got the new BlackBerry PlayBook and it’s searing hot”. I also hope I’m not the Dad whose kids get slapped by the other kids for saying stuff like “searing hot” :-)
