I was pleased to see an update available in Kies for my Galaxy Tab yesterday (18 June 2011). The update didnt go smoothly though, firstly it prompted a driver download for Windows, which took a while but seamed to install correctly, then my computer froze, i had no option but to reboot my computer, the update went into recovery mode and eventually the update completed, however, it only updated to Android 2.2 not the expected 2.3

Curious – your Tab should have been running Android 2.2 out of the box?
