LG is cock-a-hoop – it has just announced that the wildly popular (and soon to be made into a film) Angry Birds Rio will come pre-loaded on all LG phones.
The roll-out starts with the Canadian version of the Optimus 2X. Yong-seok Jang, VP of Business Strategy at LG’s mobile arm, said: “Angry Birds Rio will help showcase the power, smoothness and speed of LG’s Optimus series of Android smartphones to our customers.”
That’s nice. But to be fair, Mr Yong-seok Jang, Angry Birds Rio is already free on Android Market (iTunes charges 59p). So perhaps it’s not quite the coup LG would have you believe….
