Here’s a tech match made in heaven – an iPhone 4 + Kinect gaming set up dubbed iKinect by its makers. Rockmoon, a developer in Singapore, put together the iPhone/Kinect combo to work with a two-player shooter. Could this be the best Kinect hack so far?
With iKinect, one player uses Kinect to steer the vehicle while the other uses the iPhone to control the guns. It works pretty smoothly, as you can see in the YouTube clip after the break, but obviously with Microsoft and Apple hardly likely to collaborate on gaming tech any time soon, it’s a dream that will not come to fruition.
