Talksport wouldn’t usually be our source for gaming rumours but a sharp-eared Neo Gaf forums member caught some Call of Duty chatter on the station. Craig Fairbass, who provided the voice of Gaz in Modern Warfare and Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, was a guest on Andy Goldstein’s Sports Bar and dropped a big hint about the next Call of Duty game…
Speaking straight after chatting about his work on the previous Call of Duty: Modern Warfare titles Fairbass says: “I’ve been out in [Los Angeles] doing something…I’ve just been out there doing some bits and pieces and…um…a lot of it’s to do with…can’t say too much, ya’ know what I mean?” We do Craig, we really do.
The actor seems to be suggesting that he’ll be lending his voice to the next Call of Duty game, due to arrive this year and long-rumoured to be Modern Warfare 3. There has also be lots of speculation about a spin-off for Fairbass’ Ghost so that’s also an option.
One fairly garbled sentence on Talksport isn’t much to go on but it’s still got us pondering. What direction do you want the Call of Duty series to take next? Do you want Modern Warfare 3 or does that Ghost spin-off sound good to you?
