Nintendo has confirmed that the Nintendo Wii successor will ship in 2012. It revealed the Wii HD/Wii 2/Project Cafe will be revealed at E3 in June.

The revelation came in an official statement from the company as it released its 2010/11 earnings figures. The announcement is vital as Nintendo reported a 66% slump in its annual net profit, the second fall in two years…

    Just to call you out on that one right there, and nip this BS in the bud.

    Just because the Wii2 has RUMOURED to have a newer GPU than the PS3 and the 360, does not make it a faster and more capable console

    Specifically, the PS3 when programmed correctly (i.e. not multiplatform games), is designed to have the Cell do all the heavy GPU work, not the RSX.

    In other words, the RSX might on it’s own be old, but when the Cell is doing the vast majoriy of the work and comparison is meaningless.

    You might want to get some technical writers in rather than the copy and paste hacks you currently have….
