The Kinect hack project was simply called Be Your Souvenir and asked subjects to hop up onto a platform as the Kinect sensors scanned all 360-degrees of their beauty. The images were then slammed together into a mesh reconstruction, saved as a G-code file and then kicked out from a 3D-printer as tiny statuettes. See the killer video below:
