Apple fans, start your engines! Word is out that iOS 4.3 will be available from 10am Pacific Time today, which is 6pm today for everyone over on this side of the pond.

Things we’re expecting to see in iOS 4.3 include faster web browsing; iTunes Home Sharing, which lets you access iTunes via your Apple device over your home Wi-fi connection; tweaks to FaceTime for the iPad 2; AirPlay improvements and iPad users will be able to choose whether the iPad’s switch controls screen orientation or acts as a mute button. The iOS 4.3 hotspot feature will also be set to a default of three connections, but but carriers can request that to be changed to five.

It looks like there might be a longer wait than anticipated for the Samsung Galaxy S 2. Two online sites have switched release dates from March to May. Play.com and Expansys have both pushed the release date for the Samsung Galaxy S 2 back by eight weeks, and Play.com has also knocked £50 off the price tag.

Whether this is a real delay on production of the Samsung Galaxy S 2, or just that the two sites have been given more accurate release dates by Samsung than they previously had we don’t know, but those hoping for the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 this month look like they’ll have to wait.

The white iPhone 4 is out there. Prototypes of the white device, which has still not made it to our mitts (even with a white iPad 2 promised), have popped up before but several have been seen on holiday in Hong Kong.

Interestingly, the white iPhone 4 models snapped out there are 64GB models. Lots of iPhone 4 owners have craved a 64GB model but up until now packing that much flash memory into the phone has been too pricey. Could the iPhone 5 come in a 64GB incarnation? We hope so. And a white iPhone 5? Well, we’d be willing to bet Apple gets that one right this time.
