The iPhone 5 NFC rumours have been damped down with a report from the Independent claiming mobile industry sources are whispering that contactless payments aren’t on the cards from Apple this year. The story claims that Apple will not include NFC this year because it is “concerned by the lack of a clear standard across the industry”.
