solid state drives seagateWith the exception of the new 3TB Constellation ES.2 hard drive, all of Seagate’s 2011 product announcements this afternoon consisted of 2.5-inch for factor drives. Cache has been boosted across the board from 16MB to 64MB and all of the new drives come with a self-encryption option. Bottom line, expect performance and capacity improvements between 50 and 100 percent.

One button games are fast becoming the mainstay of our best iPhone games selections within our ever growing best iPhone apps library. While my obsession with Tiny Wings abides and love for Monster Dash is undimmed, Sticky has joined them as one of our favourite pick-up-and-play iPhone games.

In Sticky, you play a little orange blob battling grey monsters who you flick between sticky surfaces, hopping on his foes in the classic Mario/Sonic style. It’s a beautifully rendered game with bright cartoony graphics and simple but addictive gameplay. We’ve  already wasted a good chunk of time playing it. Want an iPad 2? Thinking about nabbing one with a 3G connection? Vodafone‘s just opened registration for Apple’s new slate, and while it’s only listed as “coming soon”, we do know that the tablet is expected to go on sale on 25 March in the UK generally. However, given that the US is already “suffering” from iPad shortages, you might want to do all you can to place dibs on an iPad 2 as soon as possible – and signing up for alerts seems as good a way as any.

Get your mitts on this! One eagle eyed Electricpig comrade has spotted a bargainous bundle in Sainsbury’s: For £199 Sainsbury’s is offering a 4GB Xbox 360 hardware bundle, which comes with Kinect, Kinect Adventures, and a controller.

The offer isn’t available online, and you’ll only be able to get your hands on it in store at “300 large games stores” according to a spokesperson from Sainsbury’s. Read on for more info!
