We witnessed the announcement, we had hands-on time and we even reviewed it. The Asus EEE Pad Transformer is scheduled to launch in Taiwan in a little over three days, beating our April estimate. Over on the company’s official Facebook page, a countdown is underway leading to the Taiwan launch.
We’re still under the assumption the Eee Pad Transformer will range between £250-£450 when it his the UK. Despite the countdown, Asus has kept the official pricing a mystery so we’re hoping the high end of our estimate includes the laptop dock. Specs remain unchanged: 10.1-inch screen, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM and your choice of 16GB or 32GB storage.
With a better than expect release date in the midst of CTIA Wireless, will the Asus Eee Pad Transformer launch still be your top priority? Or, will the possibility of other hybrid laptop/tablets yet-to-be announced keep you on the fence? Let us know your thoughts.
Coming Soon | Asus | £250 – £450
